This is back by popular demand!
Two years ago, I gave this jam out as a Christmas gift to friends and family! It was such a big hit; that I was asked to host a workshop so that others can learn how to make it. I thought, "sure, why not?"
Little did I know, it would be demanded back again! It was so much fun last year, so it's back!
Tomato Jam is a favorite condiment to use when entertaining!
The acidity in the jam, pairs well with a charcuterie plate or just as a nice spread on your favorite protein or vegetable. (or feel free to use this in place of ketchup for your burger all year long). We will make this in a quick can form, so come prepared with your own mason jars (two max per person) or add them to your ticket online.
The canning will happen together, as we all chop and add ladle fulls of tomato into mason jars and top it with a reduction of red wine, (oh yes you heard me right!)
Once we are done canning, feel free to take your jars home to share with your friends and family! You will leave with the recipe to make at home yourself and also a fun door prize!
We will pair this with artisan cheese and crackers throughout the night, so please feel free to bring a bottle of wine to share.
